Day 1: Arrive Cape Town
Welcome to South Africa! Cape Town is the second largest city in South Africa and is the capital of the Western Cape Province, as well as the legislative capital of South Africa. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Explore the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for some great restaurants and nightlife. This is one of Cape Town’s biggest tourist attractions. This busy harbour is set in the midst of the huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, crafts markets, theatres and lots more. Situated between Robben Island and Table Mountain, in the heart of Cape Town’s harbour, and set with a magnificent backdrop of the sea and mountains. Dinner will be enjoyed at a local restaurant.
Day 2: Half Day Cape Town City TourTake a cable car to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, (weather permitting) with views of the City and surrounding layout of this southernmost tip of Africa. We drive to Camps Bay, an affluent oceanside suburb of Cape Town, boasting a magnificent white sandy beach and once the hunting ground of Lord Charles Somerset. Wind your way along through Clifton, an exclusive residential area, home to some of the most expensive real estate in South Africa before meandering through Sea Point, the first ‘commuter suburb’ of Cape Town and now a recognized Orthodox Jewish community. The City Hall located on the Grand Parade is next up. Nelson Mandela made his first public speech after his release from the balcony of Cape Town City Hall. Drive past the Castle of Good Hope, a Provisional Heritage Site. The Castle of Good Hope was originally built as a maritime replenishment station and is the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa!
Day 3: Full Day Peninsula Tour
Cruise along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire's Paradise - from Clifton to Camps Bay, to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno - towards the charming working harbour of Hout Bay. Embark on an up-close-and-personal Seal Island cruise (Own account). Wind along the legendary Chapman's Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs and relishing the breath-taking ocean views, before arriving at your lunch spot of choice (own account) at the Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park. We meander back along the coast towards the City, visiting the historic naval port of Simon's Town and the endearing penguin colony at Boulder's Beach. You venture inland to your last stop of the day at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Day 4: Cape Town - Knysna
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Today, you will be driven to Knysna. Upon arrival, get transferred to the hotel and check in. Later, enjoy John Benn cruise on the lagoon.
Day 5: Full Day Oudtshoorn Tour
Today, depart for a full day tour to Oudtshoorn, which is a town in the Western Cape Province in South Africa. It is the largest town in the Little Karoo region. The town is home to the world’s largest Ostrich population with a number of specialized ostrich breeding farms. Visit Cango Caves – the Klein Karoo’s oldest and most popular attraction and one of the world’s natural wonder. Next, visit the Safari Ostrich Farm – the ultimate “ostrich experience” with thousands of ostriches to view from incubation stage to full grown adults that visitors can ride. The farm has an excellent restaurant specializing in South African Cuisine, especially ostrich meat. It also boasts a curio shop including an excellent range of ostrich products. Visit Cango Wildlife Ranch, where you will have the opportunity to view some of the animal species that were inhabited the Karoo Region in the early days like cheetah, lemurs etc.
Day 6: Knysna – Sun City
Today, transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg (Flight not included). Upon arrival depart for Sun City – Africa’s premier holiday resort which captivates visitors with its combination of golf, game viewing, gambling as well as world class hotels.
Day 7: Sun City
The day is at leisure where you can have non-stop fun at the Valley of the Waves, exciting entertainment options, concerts, sporting events and much more.
Day 8: Sun City - Johannesburg
After breakfast, depart for Johannesburg. Upon arrival spend your day at leisure. We suggest you to take Gold Reef Tour.
SUN CITY SHUTTLE When passengers arrive at OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg), they need to proceed to the Magic Bus counter located on the ground floor of the coach departure terminal (directly behind the Intercontinental Airport Sun) until time of their departure The departure times from OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) to Sun City are: 07h00, 09h00, 12h00, *17h00.
The departure times from Sun City to OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) are: *07h00, 10h00 12h00, 15h00, The early morning *07h00 from Sun City and late evening *17h00 to Sun City shuttle rates are surcharged. Passengers needing to be collected from or dropped off at a Sandton Hotel will be required to pay an additional connecting shuttle surcharge each way. They will be collected approximately 1 hour prior to the shuttle departure time.
Day 9: Depart Johannesburg
This morning after a sumptuous breakfast you will make your way back to O.R Tambo International Airport to prepare for your onward journey home.
